The program pdfkiln runs on your machines and sends us nothing. This page is about the site pdfkiln.org.

The pdfkiln Pro waitlist

• What: your e-mail address, your answers to the form (the features you tick or describe, stack, volume, where it would run), the language, page and price grid shown, the dates of sign-up and confirmation.
• Why: to tell you when pdfkiln Pro opens, perhaps to ask you about your needs before that, and to decide what to build first and at what price, from the answers taken together.
• Legal basis: your consent (GDPR, art. 6(1)(a)), given by the form and confirmed by the link we send. You can withdraw it at any time with the link at the bottom of each e-mail, or by writing to us.
• How long: an unconfirmed address is deleted 7 days after its last submission; a confirmed one stays until you leave the list, and at most 3 years after you joined it.
• Address check: when you join, the address is checked by MailProbe, a service of the same publisher, which asks your mail server whether the mailbox exists, without sending a message. Disposable and non-existent addresses are refused and not kept.

Visit counts

The server counts page views per day, page and source (the referring site, or the campaign tag of the link), without cookies and without keeping your IP address or your browser. These counts are not personal data.

Server logs

The web server logs each request with its IP address, for the security of the service and to fix faults, and keeps these logs 14 days. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR, art. 6(1)(f)).

Cookies

None. The site sets no cookie, uses no tracker and loads nothing from another site.

Processors

• OVH SAS (France): hosting.
• Brevo (France): sending the e-mails.
• MailProbe (same publisher as pdfkiln.org): checking the address when you join.

Your data stays in the European Union, and is neither sold nor shared with anyone else.

Your rights

You can access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format: write to contact@pdfkiln.org. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, www.cnil.fr.
